The first incarnation of Bronski Beat unfolded over a short but sweet period from April 1984 with 'Smalltown Boy' and ending in September 1985 with their post-split remix album 'Hundreds And Thousands'. With a nod to the original 'Hundreds And Thousands', and following on from last year's 40th Anniversary editions of 'The Age of Consent', London Records announce an all new Bronski Beat album - 'Forbidden Fruit - The Age Of Consent Remixed'. The album features new reworks from the likes of Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Erasure), Kinky Roland (Boy George, Marc Almond) and more, alongside exclusive extended versions of the 2024 remixes by Superchumbo (ft Neil Tennant) and The Knocks (ft Perfume Genius). A long-lost 16-minute mix of 'I Feel Love / Love To Love You Baby', featuring Marc Almond, has been reconstructed and included as 'I Feel Love (Ultramix)'. Traversing electronic dystopia, italo-disco, NRG , sultry jazz and more, 'Forbidden Fruit' makes for a fitting finale to 'The Age of Consent'. All versions are unreleased and appear on vinyl for the very first time. Tracklisting: Side One Why? (Feat. Neil Tennant) (Superchumbo Super Extended Mix) Smalltown Boy (Feat.
