Following the release of singles 'Cowgirl' (feat. Tomberlin), 'Narc', and 'Paw of the Monkey' the latest single 'Bloodsucker' arrives as a laidback take on a vampiric lifestyle. Tinged with ennui, McKay calls he song 'A piece of Halloween candy for you all'. Having initially started the project just prior to his joining of NoL Snakeskin will be the first full-length offering from McKay. While he himself often serves as an in-demand producer in the indie world, most recently having worked on CHAI's self-titled LP (SubPop), McKay teamed up with Abe Seiferth (producer behind NOL's debut LP) to to co-produce and mix much of Snakeskin and add an extra set of studio sensibilities on the final product.
