Born in Texas he moved to Europe an wrote wonderful songs. He was appreciated by the likes of Lucinda Williams and Butch Hancock and he shared stages with Townes van Zandt, John Prine, Blaze Foley and many more, thus creating a cult status for himself within americana and roots communities. Rise and Shine was recorded with Dutch band The Rhythm Chiefs shortly before he died in 2015.
