Half Speed Master 40th Anniversary Edition. Catalog Number: 1000144117 Color: Black Format: LP UPC: 602448680389 Released in 1983, Pyromania was the album that launched the band into Rock Legend status; it was the first to feature Guitarist Phil Collen who had replaced Pete Willis. Containing the worldwide hits' Photograph' and 'Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)' which became huge singles all over the world. It also reached no 2 in the US charts and has been certified Platinum over the world. This deluxe edition has been prepared in conjunction with singer Joe Elliott who has acted as executive producer on the set, the mastering has been done by the band's long-serving sound engineers Ronan McHugh and Andy Pearce. This deluxe set comes with 4CD's consisting of the original album, a whole disc of unheard demos discovered during lockdown by Joe Elliott and an unreleased song No You Can't Do That as well as two live shows from the era. The Blu Ray contains an Atmos mix of the album (overseen by Giles Martin) as well as 5.1 / Stereo and instrumental mixes as well the promo videos from the time and a debut on Blu Ray for a live show from Westfalen Halle in Germany (Dortmund). The book contains the history of the album written by Mojo and Classic Rock writer Paul Elliott (no relation) who has conducted new interviews with band members, as well as rare and unseen photos by noted photographer Ross Halfin.
