It was recorded together with his band Great Southern and was originally released in 1978. The album contains a mix of southern rock with influences from rock and country. It features the songs "Good Time Feeling" and "Atlanta's Burning Down". The title track is a poignant narrative about a soldier's wife experiencing the burning of Atlanta during the Civil War while her husband fights in Virginia.
