A feast for Femvox Folk-Rock lovers, salvaged from the only surviving 1973 IBC LP acetate. A handful of gothic trad arr., a superb electric rendition of Meet on the Ledge, a couple of carefully selected sad coffee-house covers and three self-composed numbers (of which The Snow Maiden is a stone-cold classic of spooky, witchy folk) make up a beautifully balanced album. The stars are the two female vocalists, both sing solo with astonishing range and purity and together are a heavenly choir. To give context, Filigree helped out on Sweet Williams Ghost and Sunday Afternoons. Beautiful, evocative original gig flyer artwork is used on the fully laminated sleeve, two inserts. Lovers of early Steeleye Span, Spriguns, Fairport's stop here. Barcodes on Stickers, No Shrink-wrap.
