The debut album by Frankie Goes to Hollywood was released in 1984 after the runaway success of the singles "Relax" and "Two Tribes" . It had pre-orders of over a million copies and went straight in at number one in the UK album chart. Produced by Trevor Horn, it was seen as a ground-breaking release and helped define pop music production in the eighties.
7CD/ Bluray - This extensive collection gives an unprecedented insight into how Frankie Goes to Hollywood shaped their debut album with Trevor Horn producing. The discs are housed in a slip-sleeved 10" by 10" box and feature a new remastered version of the album and a collection of Demos, outtake, BBC Sessions, and unreleased material. The 7CD/1 Blu-ray Super Deluxe Edition also features a 38-page book, with a foreword by Paul Sinclair and a detailed timeline by Kevin Foakes aka DJ Food.
2LP - This 2LP version features a new stereo mix by Steven Wilson housed in a newly designed gatefold sleeve with printed inners and pressed on 140gm vinyl.
2CD - The Deluxe 2CD set pairs the newly remastered album with versions taken from the session and a selection of outtakes. The two discs are presented in 8 panel digipak with a 20-page booklet.
