Color: Translucent Red. Limited to 200 copies. London based Healthy Junkies release the vinyl version of their 5th album via Punk Fox. They perform a fresh, modern take on Punk Rock with elements of Grunge and Gothic Psychedelic Rock, whilst also having elements that are recognisable from the 60s. The band formed in 2010 after French born singer Nina Courson had met guitarist Phil Honey-Jones at a Soho nightclub the previous year. Their first gig was supporting Goldblade and Viv Albertine in Brighton and their debut CD was released in 2011. Prior to Listen To The Mad, they have issued four studio albums, one double soundtrack album and a batch of EPs. They have and continue to tour extensively across the UK, Europe and United States, picking up new fans at every gig. They have supported the likes of The Rezillos, Sham 69, UK Subs, GBH, Vice Squad, The Professionals, The Buzzcocks and Theatre of Hate, and regularly play festivals such as Rebellion and Camden Rocks, as well as promoting the underground punk scene with their own gigs and festivals.
