Mountain was an American hard rock band formed on Long Island, New York, in 1969. This King Biscuit Flower Hour concert was recorded in late 1973 at the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, New Jersey with the classic line-up of Leslie West (vocals, guitar, Corky Laing (drums), Felix Pappalardi (bass) and David Perry (rhythm guitar). The band went through many of the cliche rock band phases: the breakup, the side-projects, a reunion with new members. Until today bands still cite them as an influence, decades after their heyday. Mountain is one of many bands commonly credited with influencing the development of heavy metal music during the 1970s. They are best-known for their 1970 smash hit song „Mississippi Queen“, which remains a staple of classic rock radio.TracklistA1. IntroductionA2. You Better Believe ItA3.
