It also includes the previously unreleased song "081121_high". This quiet, all-instrumental work is the first original solo album without any synthesizer. The album features mainly piano and nature sounds, and invited guests include the British ancient music performance group Fretwork, sho player Tamami Higashino, Gagaku player Koyokai Nanto, and string players of various genres, including Keigo Oyamada, Hirotaka Shimizu, Ren Takada, Christian Fennesse, and Rob Moose. The album also includes "disko," "ice," and "glacier," which were strongly influenced by his experiences in the Arctic Circle, which he visited during the making of the album. The song "glacier" was later used in the movie "The Revenant" (directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu in 2016), and "hibari" and "hwit" were used in the movie "Monster" (directed by Hirokazu Koreeda in 2023).
