At the time, the boys were filming a live performance at the Scala Theatre for the A Hard Day's Night film and three of the songs on this EP were due to feature in the film. Can't Buy Me Love was used during the police chase sequence and I Call Your Name and You Can't Do That were shot as part of the film's TV concert but not included in the final cut. The version of Everybody's Trying To Be My Baby included here comes from the Top Gear show recorded on 17th November.
