Kaye performed 7 Nuggets concerts in 2023 with different lineups from LA to SF to NYC, and finally to North Carolina for the final show of the year. 21 different musicians performed that night, and the main band included Lenny Kaye, Peter Buck (R.E.M., The Baseball Project), Jon Wurster (Superchunk, Mountain Goats, Bob Mould), Tim Nielsen (Drivin n Cryin), James Mastro (Ian Hunter's Rant Band, The Bongos), and Greg Rice (Backsliders). Additional musicians included Steve Wynn (The Baseball Project, Dream Syndicate), Alejandro Escovedo (Rank & File, The Nuns), Luigi Scorcia (Johnny Thunders Band, The Wise Guys), Corey Parks (Nashville Pussy), Hugo Burnham (Gang of Four), Don Dixon, Mitch Easter, Kevn Kinney and others. The concert was recorded on a 26 track console that was once used at Electric Lady Studios. The record was mixed by Don Dixon and produced by Rick Johnson.
