Dual outer slipcases part to reveal seven separate outer sleeves, which in turn house a printed inner sleeve for each disc with artwork drawn from Santa Monica Studio's extensive series archives. All music has been specially mastered for vinyl. At every step along Kratos' odyssey, the music of God of War has been about capturing the flames and the fury of his struggle, harnessing the might of the orchestra, the humanity and divinity of the choir, and thunderous percussion. Each score is brimming with powerful, emotive themes worthy of the gods themselves, bringing a noble but warlike weightiness to the games. A pantheon of composers has touched the series, starting with those that helped craft the Greek saga (Gerard K. Marino, Mike Reagan, Ron Fish, Cris Velasco, Grammy Award-winner Winifred Phillips, Winnie Waldron, and Tyler Bates); and Grammy Award-nominated Bear McCreary, who created the musicscapes of the Norse saga.
