Annie’s House is a real place and not. To me, Annie’s House is the culmination of memories of the past, present, and future. Some people might view Annie’s House as a concept album, but I truly didn’t realize it was until I began to demo the songs for the album. It is a story of love, loss, childhood, and most importantly growing up and how those things are weaved together. We so frequently don’t realize the eras of our lives unless we are looking back.
